has characteristics such as <strong>high dry matter and low sugar conte<\/strong>nt, making it ideal for chip production, was developed in 1996 by a breeder working for a division of PepsiCo Inc.&nbsp;<\/li><li>PepsiCo India obtained a <strong>certificate of registration from the Plant Variety Protection<\/strong> and Farmers&#8217; Rights Authority (PPVFRA) in 2016, granting them exclusive rights to commercially produce, sell, market, distribute, import, or export FL 2027 for a period of six years.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><li>Through contract cultivation and buy-back agreements at
