Westward Movement and Persian Impact<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Divided Streams: <\/strong>The Huna tribes divided into two major streams\u2014one towards the Oxus Valley and the other towards the Volga River, influencing Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sassanid Persia:<\/strong> The Huna impact reached Persia, where they attacked Sassanid King Peroz I, capturing and killing him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"4_Toramana_The_White_Huna_King\"><\/span><strong>4. Toramana: The White Huna King<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Invasion of Gandhara:<\/strong> Around 500 AD, Huna chieftain Ramanila conquered Gandhara, paving the way for the consolidation of Huna power in Punjab under Toramana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Feudal Structure Facilitating Conquest: <\/strong>Toramana&#8217;s invasion of the Gupta Empire, possibly with the assistance of Harigupta, exploited the feudal structure of the administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"5_Mihirkula_The_Huna_Tyrant\"><\/span><strong>5. Mihirkula: The Huna Tyrant<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Anti-Buddhist Policies: <\/strong>Mihirkula, succeeding Toramana, was known for his cruelty and anti-Buddhist policies, leading to the destruction of temples and monasteries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Conflict with Gupta King:<\/strong> Narsimhgupta Baladityaraja II, a devout Buddhist, confronted Mihirkula with the support of Yasodharman of Malwa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Defeat and Downfall:<\/strong> Yasodharman defeated Mihirkula, allowing him refuge in Kashmir, where he met his demise, marking the end of White Hunas in India (528 AD).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"6_Yasodharman_and_Gupta_Decline\"><\/span><strong>6.
