the Attorney General for India. He is the highest law officer in the country. He is a friend, philosopher, and guide, but more importantly, he is the topmost lawyer in the country. He not only defends any matter of the government inside the courtroom but the reputation of the government in front of the entire country.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thus, the duties and privileges of the AGI, combined with the limitations imposed on him, make him the chief legal adviser and lawyer of the Government of India.
