Generally, these two goals are seen separately and the second, good acts do not absolve a citizen from a crime or non-compliance of the law.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The principles of jurisprudence, provide for leniency where the culprit has good intentions and a good track record of social and community work including philanthropy as seen in the US court\u2019s judgment about iconic Rajat Gupta\u2019s failures in insider trading.
