And as per Article 22(5), when any person is detained in pursuance of an order made under any law providing for preventive detention, the authority making the order shall, as soon as may be, communicate to such person the grounds on which the order has been made and shall afford him the earliest opportunity of making a representation against the order. Hence, <strong>statement 2 is not correct<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/li><li>The Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (Prevention) Act, 1987, and the Prevention of Terrorism Act, of 2002 had made provisions to admit the confessions made by the accused before the police authorities.
