Hence, <strong>statement 1 is not correct<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/li><li>The value of the vote of an MP in a presidential election is based on the number of elected members in legislative assemblies of states and union territories, including Delhi, Puducherry and Jammu and Kashmir. If the number of elected Assembly seats increases, the value of the vote of each MLA of that state will decrease. Hence, statement 2 is not correct.\u00a0<\/li><li>The value of the vote of each MLA of Madhya Pradesh is 131 which is less than that of Kerala where it is 152. Hence, statement 3 is not correct.\u00a0<\/li><li>The value of the vote of each MLA of Puducherry (16) is higher than that of Arunachal Pradesh (8) because the ratio of total population to total number of elective seats in Puducherry is greater as compared to Arunachal Pradesh.
