It advocates for the eradication of discrimination and bias based on gender, striving for equal opportunities, rights, and treatment for people of all genders. Rooted in the recognition of historical inequalities and societal norms, gender equity seeks to create environments where individuals can thrive and contribute without limitations imposed by gender stereotypes or prejudices. Embracing diversity and inclusivity, it fosters a world where everyone, regardless of gender, can fully participate and flourish in all aspects of life, from education and employment to politics and beyond.

Table of Contents

Toggle

Twelfth Five-Year Plan: Gender Equity

FAQs

<a class="ez-toc-link ez-toc-heading-3" href="https://edukemy.com/blog/gender-equity-upsc-indian-society-notes/#1_What_is_gender_equity" title="1.
