The \u201cMiyawaki method\u201d is well known for the:<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>a) Promotion of commercial farming in arid and semi-arid areas<br>b) Development of gardens Using genetically modified flora<br>c) Creation of mini forests in urban areas<br>d) Harvesting wind energy on coastal areas and on sea surfaces<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Answer &#8211; C<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Miyawaki, an afforestation technique developed by the Japanese botanist Akira Miyawaki in the 1980s is used to grow urban forests. With this method, small plots of land are transformed into miniature forests by compressing the layers of a forest\u2014shrubs, trees, and canopies. The method involves planting two to four trees per square metre. Miyawaki forests grow in two to three years and are self-sustaining. They help lower temperatures in concrete heat islands, reduce air and noise pollution, attract local birds and insects, and create carbon sinks.
