The test is mandatory for teaching jobs in Indian government schools.<\/li><li><strong>Statement 3 is not correct: <\/strong>The NCTE is the apex body that manages the teacher\u2019s education institutions in the country. The key role of the NCTE is to \u2018achieve planned and coordinated development of the teacher education system throughout the country.
