This made Ali and her husband envious of them because they felt like their neighbors had it all figured out and ended up feeling like their own marriage wasn\u2019t interesting or there was something missing. As a result, so many \u201cwhat if\u2019s\u201d began to occur. However, everything changed when their neighbor ended up passing away because of an illness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What struck me about this was when an unexpected truth was revealed. Ali acted out of impulse by going over to console her<br>neighbor on the death of her husband. But what she never expected was her neighbor opening up about how she and her husband always watched Ali\u2019s family and wished for what they had. Hearing those words made her remorseful because the whole time she was envious of someone else\u2019s life, not realizing what she had was beautiful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Message\"><\/span>Message<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Gratitude: one should always be grateful for all that one is blessed with instead of falling prey to envy and comparison. When one cherishes what one possesses, one leads a life full of satisfaction and contentment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Empathy: one must understand that every individual is fighting a battle. One can never imagine the sorrow of others around<br>them as they have never put their feet in someone else\u2019s shoes. This simply conveys a message that humans have the ability to make this world hell and heaven. It is their attitude that makes all the difference.
