The scheme is designed to achieve the following objectives:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Employment and Skill Opportunities: <\/strong>Seekho Aur Kamao focuses on providing training and skill development opportunities to youth, with the ultimate goal of enhancing their employability and employment prospects. This includes targeting school dropouts and existing workers.<\/li><li><strong>Placement Assurance:<\/strong> The scheme stipulates that 75% of the participants must secure placement after completing their training. Out of this, at least 50% of the placements should be in the organized sector.<\/li><li><strong>Linkages with Placement Services: <\/strong>Implementing organizations are required to establish connections with placement services. This ensures that candidates have access to job opportunities that match their newly acquired skills.<\/li><li><strong>Support for Self-Employment: <\/strong>For individuals interested in pursuing self-employment ventures after completing the training, the scheme facilitates access to microfinance and loans through various financial institutions, including the National Minority Development Finance Corporation (NMDFC) and banks.<\/li><li><strong>Post Placement Assistance: <\/strong>Trainees who are successfully placed receive additional support in the form of Rs. 2000 per month for two months.
