It consists of two key components:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>AYUSH and Public Health (PHI): <\/strong>This component focuses on integrating traditional Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy (collectively known as AYUSH) practices with public health initiatives.<\/li><li><strong>Centre of Excellence (CoE): <\/strong>This aspect of the scheme provides financial support to eligible organizations and institutes for the establishment, upgradation, and research and development activities related to AYUSH. The maximum financial assistance available under the CoE component is Rs. 10.00 crores for a maximum period of three years.<\/li><li><strong>The objectives of the Centre of Excellence component are:<\/strong><ul><li><strong>Establishment of Advanced AYUSH Health Units: <\/strong>To assist in setting up advanced and specialized AYUSH medical units in well-regarded AYUSH and Allopathic institutions, both in the government and non-government sectors.<\/li><li><strong>Strengthening Competencies of AYUSH Professionals:<\/strong> To support innovative proposals for enhancing and upgrading functions and facilities of esteemed institutions. This is aimed at strengthening the capabilities of AYUSH professionals in various fields like education technology, research, innovation, and others necessary for the promotion of AYUSH at national and international levels.<\/li><li><strong>Elevating Organizations to Centre of Excellence Status: <\/strong>To support prestigious organizations that already have well-established infrastructure and wish to work towards achieving Centre of Excellence status in the realm of AYUSH systems.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>AYUSH encompasses Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy, which are traditional Indian systems of medicine practised not only in India but also in neighbouring Asian countries.<\/li><li>The Ministry of Ayush, a government ministry of India, is responsible for spearheading efforts in education, research, and propagation of these traditional medicine systems in the country. The Ayurswasthya Yojana represents a significant step in promoting and integrating these ancient healing practices into the modern healthcare framework.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Studentship_Program_for_Ayurveda_Research_Ken_SPARK\"><\/span><strong>Studentship Program for Ayurveda Research Ken (SPARK)<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The Studentship Program for Ayurveda Research Ken (SPARK) is an initiative launched by the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) to support Ayurveda (BAMS) students studying in recognized Ayurveda colleges. Here are some key points about SPARK:<\/li><li><strong>Objective:<\/strong> The primary aim of SPARK is to foster a research-oriented mindset among Ayurveda students and provide them with support and incentives to pursue their research ideas.<\/li><li><strong>Financial Support:<\/strong> Selected fellows under this program will receive a stipend of Rs.50,000 as a part of the fellowship.<\/li><li>Initial Seats: In the initial phase, there will be a total of 100 seats available per session.
