Australia and Japan have agreed to lead IPOI pillars on Maritime Ecology and Connectivity respectively.<\/li><li><strong>Free and Open Indo Pacific (FOIP): <\/strong>Japan\u2019s FOIP builds around \u2018two continents\u2019, Asia and Africa, and \u2018two oceans\u2019, the Pacific and India. It could directly counter China\u2019s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).<\/li><li>Supply Chain Resilience Initiative (SCRI): Japan mooted the Supply Chain Resilience Initiative (SCRI) as a trilateral approach to trade, with India and Australia as the key partners. For example, India still does not have a free trade agreement with Australia and the USA.&nbsp;<\/li><li><strong>Clarity in Vision:<\/strong> Indo Pacific vision needs to be explained by the nations, in an overarching framework to facilitate everyone\u2019s economic and security interests.
