SSC CGL Exam

Staff Selection Commission-Combined Graduate Level Examination is a Test conducted by the Staff Selection Commission to hire eligible graduates into the Ministry, Government Departments and many other Government service jobs. To be specific, in Group B and C of the department, which is the Non-Gazetted Post.  

Gazetted posts or officers are present in the managerial or executive positions of the department. They have the authority to issue official Government Stamps provided by the President of India or the Governor of the respective state. 

For the Year 2019-20, around 10 lakh candidates sat for the Tier 1 examination of SSC-CGL. Out of which 1,25,279 Lacs candidates made it through, which is 12.8% of the total. Though the total number of vacancies available was 8,582 candidates in 2019, in the current year 2021, they only have 6,506 open vacancies. 

Staff Selection Commission is a GOI (Government of India) integrated organisation formed to hire prospective candidates in the ministry and all sorts of Government Departments.
