Program Structure

Online classes will be Live and Interactive, that facilitates live doubt clarification by students. Recordings of all the classes will be made available on students’ dashboards. 

The course facilitates answer writing practice via Korrecto app, thus bridging the gap between online and offline courses.  

General Studies 

The course will cover the complete GS syllabus along with Tests Series for both Prelims and Mains exam. It will also cover current affairs and answer writing practice.  

  • No. of classes: 280
  • Course Commencement Date: 
  • Course Duration: 600 hours spread over 10 Months. 
  • Class Timing: 6:15 - 8:15 pm (Monday – Saturday)

Optional: Political Science & International Relations 

The course will cover the complete PSIR optional syllabus, updated with relevant current affairs, issues, reports and analysis. Students will be taught the answer writing skills required for PSIR optional (that includes references, data, etc).  

  • No. of classes: 150
  • Course Commencement Date: 25th October 2021.
  • Course Duration: 300 hours spread over 9 Months. 
  • Class Timing: 12 - 2 pm (Monday – Friday)

Assessment & Evaluation

Test Series are an integral part of UPSC CSE preparation. Here are the salient features of our evaluation system: 

  • Simulated Tests: GS Foundation course includes tests for both prelims and mains. Our tests are designed as per the standards of the UPSC CSE actual exam and follow an integrated approach that allows students to sync their prelims and mains preparation.
  • Mains Answer Writing: To facilitate answer writing practice in online mode, we have our app – Korrecto, that allows aspirants to intuitively upload their written answers. It is then evaluated by experts, marked with feedbacks and returned to students with suggestions to improve further. 
  • Handwritten Model Answers: Both GS and PSIR foundation students are provided handwritten model answers that respects the word limit and presentation style of the question.   

GS & Essay: 

  • No. of Prelims Tests: 30 (GS + CSAT)
  • Mains Tests: 30 (GS + Essay)  

PSIR: 

  • No. of Unit Tests: 8   

Note: Mains Test Series of Optional is not included in the PSIR Foundation.
