- Digital Divide with Rural-Urban as the main issue as only 14.9% of Rural households have internet access. No last mile connectivity.
- Low Awareness among citizens of Rural areas hence they are deprived .
- Lack of Legal and Regulatory Framework for Data Protection.
- Regional Language Barriers .
- Digital illiteracy as not all are aware of the devices and its usage .
- Infrastructure Challenge like Insufficient Power supply and Lack of high speed internet.
- Workforce Shortage for IT system development and management in Rural areas.
RECOMMENDATION OF 2ND ARC FOR E-GOVERNANCE :-
- Promotion of public Private Partnership model in e governance
- Prioritisation of E-Governance projects.
- Fostering Awareness in society for ease of usage
- Evaluation and Monitoring of the existing e-gov projects
