Correct Answer: Option (d)
- North Kivu and Ituri are the Provinces of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Humanitarian Emergency in North Kivu, Ituri, and South Kivu in 2023. Hence, pair 1 is not correctly matched.
- The landlocked mountainous region of Nagorno-Karabakh is the subject of an unresolved dispute between Azerbaijan, in which it lies, and its ethnic Armenian majority, backed by neighboring Armenia. Hence, pair 2 is not correctly matched.
