Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) was constituted in August 1949 and it is situated in Ajmer. Sir SK Ghosh was the first RPSC Chairman and along with two other members, the commission started its journey. Currently, The Rajasthan Public service commission is an eight-member body including one chairman. Dr. Bhupendra Singh, Retired IPS, is the current Chairman of the RPSC.
RPSC conducts Rajasthan Administrative Services (RAS) Exam. This exam is highly competitive for the selection of candidates in the Rajasthan state government for various administrative positions. The exam consists of three stages:
