MPPSC Exam Pattern 2024
The MPPSC 2024 Exam will happen in three parts. The table below shows the exam pattern for all three stages of the MPPSC Exam.

Under the Prelims examination, there are two main papers, namely:
- There are two papers in MPPSC Prelims: General Studies and General Aptitude Test. Both are multiple-choice question (MCQ) formats.
- Each paper is worth 200 marks, and candidates have 2 hours (120 minutes) for each paper.
- In the MPPSC Prelims exam for State Service, there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
Under the MPPSC Mains Mains examination, there are five main papers, namely:
- General Studies I
- General Studies II
- General Studies III
- General Studies IV
- Hindi
- Hindi Essay
The initial three General Studies papers carry 300 marks each, whereas the fourth General Studies paper is worth 200 marks. The Hindi paper is also valued at 200 marks, while the Hindi essay paper has a maximum of 100 marks. Moreover, all papers, except the Hindi Essays, allow 180 minutes (3 hours) for completion. Candidates have 120 minutes (2 hours) to finish the Hindi Essay paper.
