CGPSC conducts Civil services examinations for numerous posts in Chhattisgarh state residing in Madhya Pradesh. These exams are under the supervision of the Government of Chhattisgarh and the State governor. 

The public service commission works under Act 315 of the Indian Constitution, and its formation took place on 23 May 2001. It conducts competitive exams to fulfil the government jobs recruitment of the state. 

The headquarters of this commission is near Shankar Nagar Road, Bhagat Singh Square, Raipur, and Chhattisgarh. CGPSC is going to in this year to fulfil the need of 272 posts for the state government.

Getting such huge positions always explains how good the salary/income would be. But it also requires certain eligibility or good experience. Let's see the eligibility criteria for this.

• Any individual with complete graduation from any stream and class can appear for the examination. 
• The age limit is between a minimum of 21 to a maximum of 29 years by January 2020.
• Institutions from which a candidate completes the graduation should be from the UGC (UNION GRANT COMMISSION), under the 1956 ACT (section 3).
• The minimum age is 21, and it should not exceed the maximum age of 30.
• Age relaxation up to 5 years, for the permanent domiciles of state Chhattisgarh irrespective of caste or category. The widow candidate can also avail of this benefit on her first appointment.
• Age relaxation up to 8 years for SC, ST and OBC applicants who are permanent domiciles of Chhattisgarh.
• Age relaxation up to 3 years for individuals with a disability and defence personnel.
