Relief operations during the greatest flood.
Back in the year 2018 when a disastrous flood hit the district of Pathanamthitta the scenario was unimaginable, that was one of the biggest floods the state had witnessed in the last century.
During this time, as the collector, Nooh took charge and evacuated almost 15 lakh people from various parts and helped them with the relief services.
To assist him in this situation the state government also sent IAS Harikishore who was the former collector of the same district both of them worked hand and hand for the safety and well-being of the people.
Both the IAS Nooh and Harikishore worked their best to provide their people, from managing the control rooms to the onsite damage control they did not leave any stone of work unturned, both of them worked 20hrs a day until the situation was under control and the people were safe.
Sabarimala Riots
After the floods were managed, still it was not the end of the problems in the district of Pathanamthitta, later that year there was a verdict passed by the supreme court, allowing the entry of young girls into Sabarimala, this was an issue of religion and emotions and this case followed several riots of the locals as well, but collector PB Nooh was able to maintain his calm and manage the crowds of emotionally hurting people.
But all of it was taken care of with new orders imposed and most of it was under control.
These were one of the major events and disasters managed by the brave PB Nooh other than these there were other events such as the Lok Sabha polls and after that, the second flood followed once again.
